EU leaders to elect their first president

BRUSSELS. November 11. KAZINFORM /Yerzhan Ospanov/ Prime Minister of Sweden, Chairman-in-Office of the EU Council Fredrik Reinfeldt is to convene an extraordinary top-level summit after the consultations with his European colleagues.
The Swedish Premier hopes the forum participants will elect first EU president and head of the foreign office.
As is known these posts are created by the Lisbon treaty which will enter into force soon.
