EU High Representative, VP of European Commission Josep Borrell to visit Kyrgyzstan
High Representative of the European Union for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy - Vice-President of the European Commission Josep Borrell will arrive in Kyrgyzstan on Aug. 2, Kabar reports.
As part of the visit, Borrell is scheduled to meet with Minister of Foreign Affairs of Kyrgyzstan Jeenbek Kulubaev and Minister of Emergency Situations Boobek Azhikeyev.
In addition, the high representative of the European Union will be received by President Sadyr Zhaparov.
As earlier reported, Head of State Kassym-Jomart Tokayev met with High Representative of the EU for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy and European Commission Vice President Josep Borrell on August 1.
The meeting focused on prospects for developing cooperation between Kazakhstan and the European Union.
The meeting also featured an exchange of views on the current issues of the international agenda as well as regional cooperation between the Central Asian states.
