Estonia interested in Kazakh cargo transportation to Europe through their ports
ASTANA. July 3. KAZINFORM Kazakh Minister of Transport and Communications Abelgazy Kusainov held a meeting with chairman of Chairman of the Estonian Business Association Tiit Vahi on Friday, the press service of the Ministry reports.
Issues of organization of flow of cargo from Kazakhstan to West Europe and a range of other countries of the world through Estonian ports were discussed at the meeting.
The Head of the transport Ministry of Kazakhstan informed the Estonian side that the Kazakh side was interested in further development of mutually beneficial cooperation between two states.
Tiit Vahi said that Port of Sillamae (Estonia) was ready to receive guaranteed long-term transit flows of cargos from Kazakhstan. The Port is experienced in oil products supply from Kazakhstan by rail. Besides, the Estonian entrepreneur invited to take part in the international economic forum scheduled on September 15-16 in Tallinn.
Minister A.Kusainov offered Tiit Vahi to consider the issues of cargo supplies from Kazakhstan to Sillamae Port by road. The offer is connected with realization of the project of international transport corridor "West Europe-West China". Further activities can be coordinated at the coming economic forum in Tallinn.
