Erlan Karin congratulates Kazakh school students - winners of FIRST Global Challenge
State Counselor Erlan Karin met Kazakhstan’s three-time world champions in robotics, Kazinform News Agency learned from the Akorda press service.
Those attending the meeting were the members of the national team - students of the Nazarbayev Intellectual School Yerdaulet Turgenbayev, Alfiya Baizhakyp, Nurzhan Kokeyev, Doszhan Dairan and Kadylbek Dastan, as well as their coaches Assylbek Murzakhmetov and Nurdaulet Dosmagambet.
The State Counselor congratulated the Kazakh team and their coaches on another win in the FIRST Global Challenge robotics championships held in Greece.
In turn, the coaches and school students told the State Counselor about their preparation for the championships, the peculiarities of the event and their plans for the future.
The FIRST Global Challenge is an Olympic-style global robotics championship held in different countries since 2017. The Kazakh team already grabbed gold in Geneva in 2022 and Singapore in 2023. This year, Kazakh schoolchildren won among 190 countries of the world for the third time in a row.
