ENRC to spend KZT 2.4 bln for social projects in Pavlodar region
PAVLODAR. April 22. KAZINFORM /Vera Livintsova/ ENRC Corporation and Pavlodar region's akimat (administration) have entered into a memorandum of cooperation in implementation of social projects in 2011, Kazinform has learnt from the press service of the akimat.
ENRC Chief Executive Officer Felix Vulis and Governor of the region Bakytzhan Sagintayev confirmed their readiness for the dialogue in social sphere. This year the Corporation will spend KZT 2.4 bln for the region's development.
Housing construction remains a priority direction for the Corporation, which plans to build apartment houses in Pavlodar city and Aksu town. Local pre-school institutions, schools and technical-vocational education institutions, culture and arts organizations, churches and mosques, seniors' rest homes, orphanages and foster homes will be offered financial assistance too.
Besides, ENRC will allocate KZT 500 mln for the construction of a sports complex in Aksu town. KZT 450 mln will be donated to Irtysh football club. Table Tennis Federation, a volleyball club and the Olympic reserve school will also receive financial support.
"Socio-economic development of the region and well-being of its citizens is of great importance for the ENRC. We will continue our close cooperation in future", Felix Vulis said signing the memorandum.
