Energy complex of Astana to be reconstructed in 2014
ASTANA. December 13. KAZINFORM In Astana in 2014 monetary funds will be allocated for the development of heat energy projects from the republican and local budget for widening and reconstruction of the whole energy complex of the capital. This has been announced today at a regular maslikhat session of Astana city.
"CHP-1, CHP-2 are to be widened and reconstructed in Astana, and reconstruction of existing heat electrical networks is expected. As a result of these works, 2014 will be a year of electrical power of 120 MW and heat power of 160 Gcal. The electrical network capacity will increase from 500 to 1200 MW, and capacity of heating main - from 1179 to 2702 Gcal. Besides, the volume of rundown transmission networks will decrease by 15%", the head of the metropolitan Administration of economy and budget planning Zhanat Nurpiisov noted in his speech.
