Employment Program-2020 to reduce unemployment in Astana

ASTANA. February 24. KAZINFORM /Damir Baimanov/ The unemployment rate in Astana will be reduced to 5.5% by 2015 due to realization of the Employment Program-2020. Head of the municipal department of employment and social programs Alma Altynbayeva has made it public today at a session of the Astana maslikhat.
As earlier reported, the program was developed on the instruction of President Nursultan Nazarbayev.
As A.Altynbayeva noted, the first year of the program's realization will be a pilot one. The Astana Akimat was allocated KZT 54.3 mln from the national budget for 400 participants.
