Elderly man killed in fire in Karaganda region

ASTANA. December 9. KAZINFORM A flat of a 5-storey house went up in flames tonight in the town of Balkhash, Karaganda region.
According to the press service of the Kazakh Ministry of Emergencies, the fire covered an area of 15 square meters. A body of a 73-year-old pensioner was found at the scene.
11 firefighters and three units of the region's fire service equipment worked at the place of the accident.
