Ekaterinburg to host X Forum of Interregional Cooperation of Russia and Kazakhstan
ST. PETERSBURG. October 21. KAZINFORM - The government of the Sverdlovsk region has held a meeting on the preparation of Yekaterinburg city to conduct X Forum of Interregional Cooperation of Russia and Kazakhstan, which is to be visited by top officials of both countries.
As stated in the discussion, one of the most exciting events of the first day will be the "Invest -Marathon". "It will be a kind of non-stop presentation of the regions and major companies. In addition, we have planned a round-table discussions on the development of inter-regional co-operation, solutions to logistical problems in the area of Russia - Kazakhstan", - told Kazinform the press service of the government of the Russian region.
Also for the first time there will take place a youth forum "Russia - Kazakhstan". Its agenda will take into consideration matters related to the development of scientific and technical collaboration, the development of human relations education, food security, cooperation in the field of agriculture.
"Another important part of the international event will be an exhibition on the theme "Industrial cooperation of regions of Russia and Kazakhsta". In addition, there will be a meeting of Russia and Kazakhstan Business Council. The parties will discuss the most important topics of bilateral cooperation", said the Minister of International and Foreign Economic Relations of Sverdlovsk region Andrei Sobolev.
NOTE: The X Forum will take place nOvember 9-10 in the Middle Urals with the participation of heads of state Vladimir Putin and Nursultan Nazarbayev. The proposal to hold a commemorative event in the Middle Urals was made by the governor of the Sverdlovsk region Yevgeny Kuyvashev at the previous forum in Pavlodar. Heads of Russia and Kazakhstan have supported this initiative.
