Eight feared dead in B-52 bomber crash in U.S.

A U.S. Air Force B-52 Stratofortress carrying eight people crashed shortly after takeoff from Edwards Air Force Base in California's Mojave Desert on Monday, with no survivors reported, the base said, Xinhua reported.
The aircraft took off at 11:20 a.m. local time and was on a routine test mission, the base said on X.
Previously, it was reported that six people were killed following a mid-air collision between two helicopters west of Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.
