Education financing in Kazakhstan reached KZT 1.3 trln

ASTANA. January 28. KAZINFORM Financing of education in Kazakhstan for the last two years reached KZT 1.3 trillion, Minister of Education and Science Bakytzhan Zhumagulov announced Monday at a press briefing in the Central Communications Service.
"This is 4.2% of gross domestic product. In the Organisation for Economic Cooperation and Development the average figure is 6.7% of GDP, which is considered very good," said the Minister.
"Disbursement of funds in 2012 was 99.8%. This is the best result for all the years of our Ministry," said B. Zhumagulov.
