EDB CEO reports to Nursultan Nazarbayev

The meeting discussed the main directions of the bank's activity in our country, as well as the interim results of its work since its founding in 2006. It was noted that over the years the economy of Kazakhstan has been invested more than USD 2 billion, implemented 28 projects in various sectors including power, transport machinery and chemical industry. The President stressed that the bank's activity reflect the positive dynamics of its development. I.Finogenov informed the President on the key areas of the bank's activity, which focuses on priority projects to be realized in the framework of government and industry programs. In addition, the headquarters of the bank in Almaty operates with partners, second tier banks, to enhance financing of small and medium-sized businesses.
