Economic growth in 2010 to lead to rise in prices for oil and metals - Minister Sultanov

ASTANA. January 26. KAZINFORM /Kanat Kulshmanov/ Growth of world economy in 2010 can lead to rise in prices for oil and metals. Minister of Economy and Budget Planning Bakhyt Sultanov has made it public at the Government's session today.
"In 2009 the world economy declined by 1.1%. In 2010 the International Monetary Fund forecasts 3.1% growth. Developing countries of Asia, primarily China and India, are expected to be major locomotives of the global growth", he said.
According to him, improvement of the situation in the world economy will lead to rise in prices for oil and metals.
