Economic Council of Bundesland Rhineland-Palatinate and German President Horst Kohler discussed bilateral economic ties with Kazakhstan

NKFURT AM MAIN - BRUSSELS.  October 26. KAZINFORM /Yerzhan Ospanov/ In accordance with the information of the Consulate General of Kazakhstan in Frankfurt am Main, there was held a meeting of the representatives of the Economic Council of the Bundesland Rhineland-Palatinate with Federal President of Germany Horst Kohler.

The parties focused on the activity of the Economic Council of in light of its integration policy and strengthening economic ties with Kazakhstan first of all within the "Kazakhstan" working group created on the initiative of the Consulate General of the Ministry of Economy of Rhineland-Palatinate.

Earlier the Federal Government carried out an analysis of regional and economic activity of different regional structures on the country's territory.

The parties discussed the activity of the Council and working group in light of the events held within the Year of Kazakhstan in Germany - organization of "Kazakhstan" festive events, the days of Kazakhstan economy in Germany, joint sittings on economic issues, arrangement of the Kazakh delegations' visits, as well as those events scheduled for future like creation of a mechanism of organizing training courses for the Kazakh specialists in agriculture, medicine and development of partnership on establishment of the centers of vocational and technical training in Kazakhstan.

The high-level format of the meeting sets the best pattern of the results reached due to Kazakh-German joint work on expansion of bilateral ties.
