East Kazakh governor surveys promising agricultural projects

During the visit, Mr. Akhmetov surveyed a local dairy farm and new projects in stock breeding sector. Daniyal Akhmetov stressed the importance of such projects, especially in the context of the new State-of-the-Nation Address "Nurly zhol - Path to the future" of President Nazarbayev. "Economic sectors that affect economic growth and create new jobs should get maximum support from the government," he added. "Supporting farmers and entrepreneurs in rural areas of the country is one of the key priorities of national economy. East Kazakhstan region takes top spot in terms of progress in agriculture and stock breeding," the governor's press service said.
