Earthquake jolts Karaganda region, felt in Astana

ASTANA. KAZINFORM - A 4.8-MPV earthquake has just hit the territory of central Kazakhstan, Kazinform has learnt from the European-Mediterranean Seismological Center.
The earthquake was registered 206 km south-east of Astana city, 26 km away of Karaganda city. Tremors were felt in Kazakhstan's capital and Karaganda city. No fatalities were reported.
