Earthquake hits Kazakh-Chinese border

An earthquake measuring 4.8 on the MPV scale has hit the Chinese-Kazakh border earlier this morning, Kazinform News Agency reports.
The epicenter of the quake was located 320km northeast of Almaty city on the border of China and Kazakhstan.
The quake hit at a depth of 10km at 4:58 a.m. Almaty time.
