Each SCO country must strengthen our Organization – SCO Secretary General

BEIJING. February 3. KAZINFORM /Ruslan Suleimenov/ The Shanghai Cooperation Organization will be enlarged in future; SCO Secretary General Muratbek Imanaliyev has announced it today in Beijing.
According to him the SCO experts develop the criteria for inclusion of new members in the Organization. "Further extension is an absolute perspective for our Organization which like other similar organizations is striving for it", he noted.
He also informed that Iran and Pakistan have filed applications for SCO accession.
Despite the impact of the world financial crisis the SCO does not intend to cut its budget. "We do not intend to cut it, on the contrary, there is an issue of its increase", the SCO Secretary General noted.
