Drug dealers detained in Karaganda with 5 kg of heroin

December 10 Karaganda police officers stopped Mercedes Benz car driven by a 54-year-old resident of the city of Shymkent. A 47-year-old resident of the same city was in the car too. Policemen arrested the suspects after they sold 5 kg of heroin worth $3000 to a man who turned out to be a police officer.

The men were put into a temporary detention center of Karaganda. Criminal case has been initiated.

According to the agency, from the beginning of the current year Karaganda police seized about 360 kg of various narcotics including more than 90 kg of heroin.
