Drone targets commercial cargo vessel in Qatar's territorial waters

Qatar's Ministry of Defense announced that a drone targeted a commercial cargo vessel in the country's territorial waters-northeast of Mesaieed Port-coming from Abu Dhabi on Sunday, QNA reported.
A fire broke out onboard the vessel, with no reported injuries, the Ministry said in a statement on X.
The vessel continued its journey toward Mesaieed Port after the fire was brought under control, according to the Ministry.
All required measures were taken, and coordination was carried out with the relevant authorities, the Ministry added.
Earlier, it was reported that Iran had formally presented to Pakistani mediators its response to the latest US proposal aimed at ending the war of aggression against the country.
