DPRK lawmakers again elect Kim Jong-Il SDC head

SEOUL. April 9. KAZINFORM North Korean leader Kim Jong-Il was re-elected on Thursday to the top state post of chairman of the North Korean State Defence Committee for a new five-year term, the KCNA news agency reported on Thursday. This happened at a regular session of the North Korean parliament in Pyongyang; Kazinform refers to ITAR-TASS.
Deputies of the North Korean parliament ?festively proclaimed inside the country and all over the world? that Kim Jong-Il was re-elected the top military leader of the socialist country, says a KCNA statement. ?His election was an expression of the indisputable support for and trust in him by all the military and people,? the news agency emphasised; Kazinform cites ITAR-TASS.
