Doctrine of National Unity discussed in Pavlodar

PAVLODAR. November 27. KAZINFORM /Vera Livintsova/ The draft Doctrine of the National Unity was discussed at the session of the Assembly of Peoples of Kazakhstan in Pavlodar.

XV session of the Assembly of the region was held in Pavlodar Thursday. Members of the Assembly, ethno-cultural associations, and representatives of state bodies, veterans' councils and youth took part in the discussion.

"At the last session of the Assembly Kazakh President Nursultan Nazarbayev presented new strategic document of the national policy that outputs the activity of the Assembly to a new level. The Doctrine of the National Unity must become our best practice and basis for moving forward", regional Governor Bakytzhan Sagintayev said opening the session.

Mayor of Ekimastuz Nurlan Nabiyev, Rectro of Pavlodar State University Yerlan Aryn, representative of the Slavonic Center Dmitry Kolodin and Leader of the Greek ethno-cultural association Lyudmila Ifandopulo introduced their proposals and amendments at the session.

The participants of the session approved address to the residents of the region. "We fully support the initiative of the Head of the State on adoption of the Doctrine of the National Unity. The realization of provisions of the document will strengthen the Kazakh model of interethnic accord, make the Kazakhstani experience an example fro other states", the address writes.
