Doctors pleased that President paid attention to them in his Address to Nation - Almaty health workers
ALMATY. January 30. KAZINFORM /Yelena Ilinskaya/ "Doctors were pleased that the President paid attention to them in his Address to the Nation, promising to increase salaries from April, complimenting the achievements of the healthcare sector and setting distinct tasks on reduction of the mortality rate, improvement of the living conditions of Kazakhstanis", Director of Almaty municipal center of healthy lifestyle Gulzhan Karimova said commenting on the President's Address.
She appreciated the opened and opening hospitals and policlinics within "100 schools, 100 hospitals" program. "We have six maternity hospitals in the city but it's not enough. In this regard, the new perinatal center with modern equipment that will be opened in Almaty soon and which the President mentioned about is necessary. It wall help to reduce the child mortality rate and increase life expectancy of Kazakhstani women in some measure", G.Karimova said.
G.Karimova noted that this year the Almaty municipal center of healthy lifestyle will work due to the President's Address. "Healthy lifestyle, mentioned by the Head of the State is our permanent activity. We will continue implementing of our 16 programs on healthy lifestyle this year", she said.
