Dmitriy Karpov is 8th after Day 1 of Olympic Decathlon

LONDON. August 9. KAZINFORM Dmitriy Karpov came 4th showing 49.83 result on Heat 2 in Men's Decathlon 400m at the Olympic Stadium in London.
As a result, Dmitriy dropped to the 8th place in the Decathlon standings. Our athlete is expected to take part in five more decathlon events on Thursday within the Summer Olympics in London.
