This June TV and Radio Complex of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan launched a countrywide TV project called Taza Qala (Clean City) as part of the environmental campaign spearheaded by Head of State Kassym-Jomart Tokayev. The new episode took the viewers along the embankment of the Ertis (Irtysh) in the Pavlodar region, the hometown of Imanbek.

“I’ve been to a lot of cities of Kazakhstan. I am convinced that our city is the cleanest of them all. It is clean despite a host of industrial plants operating here,” Imanbek shared in an interview with the TV show.

Imanbek has been a resident of Pavlodar since 2016.

“Since that time a lot of new residential complexes have been built. A new embankment has been developed. A lot of people flock here, something I haven’t seen before,” he added.

The TV show will travel to large and small cities of Kazakhstan to tell the viewers about the cleanness and beauty of each spot on the map. They will meet with locals, volunteers and social activists who care about the environment in the regions.
