Direct flight to connect Kazakhstan’s Kostanay and Uzbekistan’s capital

On June 13, 2026, the Akhmet Baiturssynuly International Airport in Kostanay will welcome the first regular flight of Uzbekistan’s Centrum Air on the new Kostanay–Tashkent–Kostanay route, Qazinform News Agency reports.
The new route strengthens air connectivity between Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan. It is expected to boost business, tourism, and cultural ties while improving transport accessibility for Kostanay region.
Airport chairman Askar Bekbossynov called the launch of the new route a significant milestone for both the airport and the region.
Recently, direct flights were launched between Kazakhstan and Mongolia.
