Design festival to be held in Astana for the Day of the First President

The festival program includes a republican exhibition "Technologies of XXI century" touching on a theme of city and modern technologies. Also there will be a contest exhibition "From idea to realization" where famous designers and production companies will demonstrate the process of creation: from a project to its implementation with the use of mould-breaking design solutions. Besides, there will be a contest of young designers "Topical design" consisting of two nominations - "Environment" and "Subject" allowing to cover the range of human life and activities. And an international exposition "City and design" will represent development and improvement design of territory to resident and guests of the capital; also this exhibition will allow attracting public attention to urban design, quality and aesthetics of modern construction. It's worth noting that for the first time ever the festival will involve professional and young designers of different directions, architects, urban planners, and companies representing new technologies in industry and construction in Kazakhstan. Recall that the festival will take place in the Palace of Peace and Accord from on November 26-28.
