Denis Ten joins Astana President's Professional Sports Club
ASTANA. March 27. KAZINFORM - Silver medalist at the World Figure Skating Denis Ten has been accepted into the "Astana" President's professional sports club (Astana PPC). That has been informed about at today's press conference by PPC General Manager Aidar Makhmetov, reports the correspondent of Vesti.kz.
"We will be trying to create the conditions for the athlete to reach the new heights," said Makhmetov to the reporters.
Earlier, the double Olympic champion Ilya Ilyin has become the member of Astana PPC.
It should be reminded that Kazakh Denis Ten finished second at the World Figure Skating Championship, which took place in London (Canada), having 266.48 points in two exercises. Canadian figure skater Patrick Chan became the world champion in men's figure skating despite the two falls in the long program, and collected 267.78 points.
