Delegation of Brazilian agrarians arrived in Kazakhstan

ASTANA. June 16. KAZINFORM /Muratbek Makulbekov/ A delegation of the Brazilian Agricultural Research Corporation, headed by Councilor on international cooperation Rodrigo Nunes Valadares is paying official visit to Kazakhstan, Kazinform refers to the press service of ?KazAgroInnovation? JSC.
A meeting with the Brazilian scientists was held Monday in the Kazakh Agriculture Ministry. Director of the Department of Science of the Kazakh Agriculture Ministry Zhandar Omarov, President of ?KazAgroInnovation? JSC Bayan Alimgazinova, leading Kazakh scientists represented the Kazakh side at the meeting.
Today the Brazilian delegation will visit the Kazakh Research Institute of Grain Farming in Shortandy village of Akmola region, where they will get acquainted with the work of the Kazakh scientists on breeding of new wheat grades and other crops.
Signing of Memo on mutual understanding and cooperation between ?KazAgroInnovation? JSC and the Brazilian Agricultural Research Corporation is planned within the visit.
