Delegation from Latin America to visit Kazakhstan this month
ASTANA. September 23. KAZINFORM /Murat Zhakeev/ The first international forum 'Week of Latin America in Kazakhstan' will be held in Astana since September 27 to October 1. Director General of the American-Asian Association of Business Cooperation Nailya Sultankulova said it at the press conference in the Honorary Consulate of Chile in Astana.
'The event is expected to be very interesting. A large group of politicians, scientists, representatives of culture and art of the countries of Latin America will come to Kazakhstan. The American-Asian Association of Business Cooperation is an organizer of the forum', Sultankulova said.
The forum will be opened by holding a press conference with the members of the delegation from Latin America and continue in the form of scientific practical conference in the National Academic Library where the main priorities of the cooperation between the countries are to be set.
The Palace of Peace and Accord will hold a food exhibition on the second day of the forum. The exhibition will show to the visitors the food imported from Latin America such sea food, cheese and fruit. The winemakers will represent their products as well.
On Wednesday, September 29, Latin American Chefs will hold master classes to the sounds of Latin music.
At the end of the forum the Chilean guests will hold educational lectures dedicated to the works of Chilean poet Pablo Neruda and tell about culture and history of the countries of Latin America: 'Chile: yesterday, today, tomorrow'.
