Defense Ministries of Kazakhstan & Lithuania sign cooperation plan for 2014
ASTANA. November 27. KAZINFORM - Today Kazakhstan Defense Ministry has held a meeting between the Kazakh servicemen and their Lithuanian colleagues.
For two decades the Republic of Kazakhstan and the Republic of Lithuania have maintained regular dialogue at all levels promoting constructive relations and mutually beneficial cooperation in various spheres.
To date, the Kazakh-Lithuanian military partnership is developing steadily. Its main focus is to train soldiers in military educational institutions of Lithuania on course preparation system.
"We are interested in further strengthening the friendly relations between the defense ministries of our countries. We cannot but mention the annual participation of Lithuanian troops in peacekeeping exercise "Steppe Eagle" and thank the Lithuanian military medical center for conducting training sessions with the staff of Kazbrig medical corps", said Colonel Adil Bekov, the Head of International Cooperation Department of the Ministry of Defence.
Following the bilateral negotiations the Defense Ministries of Kazakhstan and Lithuania have signed a cooperation plan for 2014.
