Defense Minister inspects military facilities in Semey

ASTANA. KAZINFORM - Kazakhstan's Minister of Defense Serik Akhmetov visited a number of military facilities while on a working trip to Semey city, Kazinform has learnt from the ministry's press service.
Minister Akhmetov visited a garrison of the regional command Vostok and surveyed defense contractors - Semey Engineering JSC and Semipalatinsk mechanical engineering plant in the area. In addition, Serik Akhmetov gave a number of instructions to the military and stressed the need to strengthen defense industry in the future.
