In his speech, Kazakhstan’s Defense Attache, Lieutenant General Timur Dandybayev congratulated those present and emphasized that reforms initiated by the Head of State aim to strengthen the country’s defense capacity, improve combat readiness, and modernize the Armed Forces. He highlighted that Kazakhstan’s army has the personnel, technical, and mobilization potential to ensure national security effectively.

Dandybayev noted Kazakhstan’s commitment to international peace, recalling that in 2024 Kazakh servicemen took part in seven UN peacekeeping missions, and this year plan to join the International Stabilization Forces in Gaza, reflecting the country’s dedication to peace, humanitarian support, and constructive diplomacy.

He stressed that cooperation between Kazakhstan and the United States is long-term and based on trust, with interaction involving U.S. Central Command and the Arizona National Guard serving as a strong example of practical partnership.

He highlighted Kazakhstan remains committed to strengthening its Armed Forces, modernizing capabilities, introducing new technologies, ensuring the welfare of servicemen, and fostering patriotism among the younger generation.

The American side expressed readiness to further develop bilateral defense cooperation and expand collaboration in areas of mutual interest.

During the reception, guests viewed a video showcasing Kazakhstan’s military reforms and priorities.

Earlier, President-Supreme Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of the Republic of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev congratulated Kazakhstanis, officers, and soldiers on Defender of the Fatherland Day.
