Deep conversion complex planned to be constructed at Atyrau Oil Refinery

ATYRAU. February 16. KAZINFORM /Andrei Sokolov/ The Atyrau Oil Refinery develops a technical project on construction of a deep conversion complex. The preliminary cost of it is USD 1.106 bln.
The complex will include 16 new processing plants. After the realization of the project the conversion rate will raise from 50 percent to 84 percent. The complex will be capable of processing heavy crude oil from Mangyshlak deposits. The volume of production of gasoline and diesel fuel will also be significantly increased which is planned to meet Euro-4 and Euro-5 standards in the future.
