Deaths on the roads in Mangystau region drop - police

AKTAU. KAZINFORM - 65 people have been killed in road accidents in Mangystau region over the past 8 months, local police say.
65 people were killed and 288 were injured in 228 road accidents in Mangystau region in 2014. The good news is that the number of deaths and injuries has declined by 10-20% compared to previous year. In 2013, 72 people died and 357 sustained injuries in 270 car crashes. Child deaths and injuries from road traffic accidents in the region have also decreased recently.
