Deadly market bombing hits north-west Pakistan town

LONDON. June 16. KAZINFORM A bomb explosion in a marketplace in north-western Pakistan has left at three people dead, local officials say.
Several more people were reported injured in the blast, which occurred in the town of Landi Kotal. Officials say the death toll could rise.
The bomb appeared to be aimed at members of a pro-government tribe who oppose a local warlord, local official Arshad Khan told AFP news agency.
Pakistan's tribal north-west has seen frequent attacks by Taliban militants.
No group has so far claimed the attack, BBC reports.
