Deadly car crash in Karaganda region leaves man without wife and daughter

KARAGANDA. August 5. KAZINFORM Two people died and five were injured in a head-on collision of two vehicles on Karkarlinsk-Karaganda motorway in Karaganda region.
The road accident happened 10 km away from Koktas village on August 4.
A 49-year-old Audi car driver failed to control his vehicle, crossed into the oncoming lane and committed a head-on collision with Mercedes Benz car. As a result, two passengers of the Audi car died straight away: the 43-year-old spouse of the driver and his 25-year-old daughter.
Three passengers of the Mercedes Benz car were also taken to a hospital with various injuries. Both drivers were slightly injured and are safe now.
An investigation has been initiated.
