DBK, China Exim Bank signed USD 5 lbn loan agreement
ANA. July 31. KAZINFORM /Kurmat Samarkhan/ Development Bank of Kazakhstan JSC and Export-Import Bank of China have signed a general loan agreement on extension of credit facility between these two institutions.
The document is a result of the agreements achieved within the official visit of the Kazakh President to China and the memo signed between the Governments of Kazakhstan and China on complex cooperation in the field of energy and lending.
In accordance with agreement the Export-Import Bank of China intends to lend USD 5 bln to the Kazakhstan Development Bank for 15 years. The funds will be allocated for realization of investment projects of the Kazakh companies including those providing export of industrial products, services and equipment of the Chinese enterprises.
The credit facility aims at the development of energy, transport, communicational infrastructure and realization of strategic projects in metallurgy, chemical and oil industries.
