Days of Republic of Sakha to be held in Kazakhstan
Minister of Culture and Information of the Republic of Kazakhstan Aida Balayeva met with Minister of Culture and Spiritual Development of the Republic of Sakha Afanasiy Noyev this week, Kazinform News Agency has learnt from the ministry’s press service.
Minister Balayeva and her counterpart discussed a wide range of areas of development of bilateral cooperation that will help strengthen cultural cooperation between the two countries.
At the meeting, the sides also focused on the events that will be held as part of the Days of the Republic of Sakha in Kazakhstan in April 2024. The events are slated to take place in Astana and Almaty.
For instance, guests and residents of the Kazakh capital will get a chance to marvel at Yakutia’s unique cultural heritage at the exhibition titled ‘Sokrovishchnitsa Yakutii’ (Treasury of Yakutia) on April 17.
Several concerts are set to be held at the Kuanyshbayev State National Kazakh Music and Drama Theater and the Gorkiy Russian Drama Theater in Astana as well as several concert halls in Almaty.
