Dariga Nazarbayeva to give a charity concert in Kostanay

KOSTANAY. October 11. KAZINFORM Chairperson of the Committee for Social and Cultural Development under the Majilis (lower chamber of the Kazakh Parliament) Dariga Nazarbayeva has arrived in Kostanay to give a charitable performance. Artists of the Astana Opera and Ballet Theater who accompany Ms Nazarbayeva in her trip are also expected to give a performance on October 12.
The charitable concerts will be held for disabled people, veterans, orphans, teachers and doctors. According to deputy governor of the region Serik Bekturganov, the tickets are free of charge.
On the eve of the concert, Ms Nazarbayeva held a press conference during which she answered the questions of mass media. She told the reporters she is fond of charity ans singing.
