Daniyal Akhmetov to chair East Kazakhstan branch of Nur Otan Party

He was chosen at the regular conference of the party in Ust-Kamenogorsk. "Daniyal Akhmetov served as the governor of Pavlodar region and was Prime Minister of the country for four years. He made an invaluable contribution to the development of Kazakhstan. That is why I believe as the chairman of the regional branch of the party he will give a new impetus to the development of the region," Mr. Baibek said at the conference. He also touched upon the new economic policy "Nurly zhol - Path to the Future" initiated by President Nursultan Nazarbayev. "In his Address to the Nation the President set specific tasks. From now on we can control the use of budget funds and the quality of fulfillment of these tasks," he added.
