Customs Union to be locomotive of integration processes on CIS space - Sergey Mironov
MOSCOW. March 31. KAZINFORM /Narymbek Ismagulov/ The Customs Union is to be a locomotive of consolidation of the CIS states and will promote creation of the single economic space in the middle-term perspective.
Chairman of the Federation Council of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation Sergey Mironov has announced it at a roundtable untitled "The Customs Union: legal groundwork and ways of development" on Tuesday, March 30.
S.Mironov expressed confidence that in the nearest future other countries, first of all, it is the EurAsEC member states as well as Ukraine will join the Customs Union.
"I think we have good reasons to expect that the Customs Union will be a locomotive, powerful integration process on the CIS space and will promote creation of the single economic space in the middle-term perspective", the Head of the Federation Council resumed.
