Customs Union - new prospects for Pavlodar manufacturers

PAVLODAR. January 30. KAZINFORM /Vera Livintsova/ Issues of import and export of goods and price situations that may occur following the entry into force of the Customs Union of Kazakhstan, Russia and Belarus were discussed at the session in Pavlodar held by Governor of the region Bakhytzhan Sagintayev, Kazinform refers to the press service of the regional Governor.

"Foreign goods will be imported to Kazakhstan in larger volumes after introduction of the Uniform Customs Code. Local manufacturers should consider competitive growth, analyzing every type of goods", B.Sagintayev said.

New economic conditions provide new prospects for Pavlodar entrepreneurs. "Accession to the Customs Union is a motivation of development for goods producers", Director of "Sut" JSC Saule Duisembayeva noted. "We are not afraid of such experience in dairy field countries as Russia and Belarus. We updated our plan last year. Specialists of the biggest companies of the world help us to introduced new technologies. We exported 200 tons of powdered milk to Russia last year and plan to increase supplies by 30% this year", she said.

The regional Governor charged the heads of state bodies to work out additional measures on support of local manufacturers in new conditions and control over prices of goods.
