Customs Union foreign trade committee sits in Almaty

MINSK. September 22. KAZINFORM A meeting of the committee for foreign trade regulations of the Customs Union Commission is taking place in Almaty, Kazakhstan, Andrei Savinykh, Spokesman for the Foreign Ministry of Belarus, told reporters on 22 September.

According to BelTA, the Belarusian delegation led by Deputy Foreign Minister Alexander Guryanov comprises experts of the foreign, industry and trade ministries, and the Aviation Department of the Transport and Communications Ministry.

The committee is expected to consider a wide range of issues including customs tariff and nontariff regulations. The meeting participants will draw up conclusions necessary for signing these documents at the meeting of the Customs Union Commission. The agenda includes 18 issues.

According to Andrei Savinykh, the parties are set to sign an agreement to regulate the delivery of several types of Ukrainian steel pipes to the Customs Union.
