Customs Union and Vietnam to establish free trade zone

ASTANA. KAZINFORM - The first round of negotiations on free trade zone agreement between the Customs Union member states (Kazakhstan, Russia, Belarus) and Vietnam has completed in Almaty, the press service of the Ministry of Economy and Budget Planning reports.

Negotiators discussed sections of the draft agreement on trade in goods, customs administration, rules of origin and intellectual property protection as well as public procurement. The work has been finished on the text of the chapters related to sanitary and phytosanitary measures and e-commerce. The agreement will boost trade relations development between the CU states and Vietnam and create favorable conditions for the promotion of products in Vietnam market and investment in the CU.
