Customs privileges for special economic zones to be preserved till Jan 1, 2017 - Shukeyev

ASTANA. June 1. KAZINFORM /Muratbek Makulbekov/ Customs privileges for special economic zones in Kazakhstan will be preserved till January 1, 2017, Kazinform has learnt from Umirzak Shukeyev, First Vice Prime Minister of the country.
"We need free economic zones, special economic zones for development of our industry, industrialization and attraction of investments. We insisted on this decision in order not to worsen the terms of attracting investments in special economic zones at least for a certain transition period", U. Shukeyev added.
The transition period on customs privileges for special economic zones will last till January 1, 2017.
