Customs authorities of Customs Union to meet in Vitebsk 15 March

MINSK. March 15. KAZINFORM The third meeting of the joint panel of the customs services of the Customs Union member states will take place in Vitebsk on 15-16 March, BelTA learnt from the press service of the State Customs Committee of Belarus.

According to BelTA, attending the event will be also heads of the customs services of Ukraine and Kyrgyzstan.

The meeting participants will approve provisions and the composition of the task groups of the joint panel. They will work on the classification of goods, intellectual property protection, application of the criminal and administrative offences legislations, customs expertise and expert support.

The customs authorities of Belarus and Russia are expected to to sign a protocol on amendments into the agreement "Concerning the payment of export customs duties (other duties, taxes and fees of the equivalent action) in the export of crude oil and certain categories of oil products from Belarus outside the Customs Union" of 9 December 2010.

In addition, the customs bodies of Belarus, Russia and Ukraine will discuss the main cooperation areas during the UEFA Euro-2012.
