Culture is inseparable from socio-economic processes - President Nazarbayev
ALMATY. February 3. KAZINFORM. /Aigul Turysbekova/ It is possible to build new economy only through hard work of each Kazakhstani. Industrialization is our common purpose. This is the only condition for increasing economic efficiency and people's welfare. Kazakh President Nursultan Nazarbayev has said it at the ceremony of awarding the state scholarships to the workers of literature and art in Almaty today.
The Head of the State emphasized that highly developed culture and art always represented a basis of any strong state.
N. Nazarbayev called on the workers of literature to devote their best creative thoughts and works to educate the younger generation to timeless moral values and love for the motherland.
He said that the main purpose for Kazakhstan "is to build an economically prosperous state. Today Kazakhstan is known all over the world. In 2010 it assumed the chairmanship in the OSCE uniting 56 countries of the world. Our task is to meet contemporary requirements and challenges. In my address to the nation I've estimated the work done during the ten years of implementation of the Strategy-2030. We determined the tasks for the coming decade. Over those years we have changed the mentality and outlook of the society, its hopes and purposes. We have both achievements and mistakes. But the most important here is our experience."
