Culture and Information Minister opened in Austria the Days of Kazakhstan's Culture
VIENNA. May 21. KAZINFORM - In Vienna, the Minister of Culture and Information Mukhtar Kul-Muhammed opened the Days of Culture of Kazakhstan in Austria in one of the best concert halls in the world - ithe Great Hall of the Konzerthaus.
Speaking to the Austrian public, the head of the Ministry of Culture and the Republic of Kazakhstan congratulated the guests and friends of Kazakhstan with the opening of the Days of Culture of Kazakhstan in Austria. He said that over the 20 years since the establishment of diplomatic relations between Kazakhstan and Austria in our country under the leadership of President Nursultan Nazarbayev held a bright path of development. In a short period of time Kazakhstan has successfully reformed its economy, political and social system and achieved a stunning achievement.
Our country became a territory of peace and harmony for the representatives of 130 ethnic groups and 46 religious denominations. Kazakhstan for the first time in the post-Soviet area chaired the OSCE. Our country has also chaired the Organization of Islamic Cooperation, the Shanghai Cooperation Organization and other institutions. One of the most impressive achievements since independence has been the construction of Astana, as well as obtaining the right to host the international exhibition EXPO-2017.
"Containing 32 Austrias in its territory and on the cusp of Europe and Asia, Kazakhstan joined the East and the West, Islamic and Christian civilizations, thus turned into an island of peace and tranquility. During the years of independence, Kazakhstan has become a major partner of the EU in Central Asia, as well as the third strategic partner of Austria, after Russia and Ukraine in the CIS ", said M. Kul-Muhammed.
Commissioner of the Federal Government of Austria on International Humanitarian Cooperation Teresa Inzhayn noted that during the visit of President Nursultan Nazarbayev to Austria in October 2012, an agreement was reached to hold the 2013 Days of Culture of Kazakhstan in Austria, and in 2014 Austria Days in Kazakhstan. "Today's concert marks the beginning of the Days of Culture of Kazakhstan in Austria. It will begin strengthening political, cultural and educational cooperation between the two countries, " said T.Inzhayn.
The concert was attended by Kazakh State Academic Orchestra of Folk Instruments named after Kurmangazy, ensemble of dombra players, honored republican artists - Alan Buribaev, Azamat Zheltyrguzov, Ajgul Niyazova, Bibigul Zhanuzak, Nurlan Bekmukhambetov, Talgat Musabayev, Gulziya Stambekov, Amir Tebenihin, Sundet Baigozhin, winners of national and international competitions - Bibigul Sauytova, Zhaksygeldy Mayasarov, Meir Bayneshov, Erbolat Akhmediarov, Armand Zhudebaev, Nurjan Bazhekenov, Edil Husainov, Ardak Itekeeva, Naryn Kazhgaliyev, Saltanat Akhmetova, Erjan Kulibayev, Baurjan Anderzhan, Aizada Kaponova and others.
