CU to create favorable conditions for changing trade balance in favor of Kazakhstan - Vice Minister of Agriculture

ASTANA. April 23. KAZINFORM /Kanat Kulshmanov/ The Customs Union will provide favorable conditions for changing trade balance in favor of Kazakhstan. Vice Minister of Agriculture Arman Yevniyev said at an online conference today.

"Unfortunately, we have negative balance both with Russia and Belarus, it means the volume of import exceeds our export to these countries", he said.

According to him, the Customs Union "will provide favorable climate for promotion of our products to these markets which will let trade balance turn in our favor", A. Yevniyev added.

Alongside, the Vice Minister clarified that Kazakhstan planned to increase production which is conditioned by establishment of the Customs Union. The CU will stimulate growth of production, he stressed.
